How do I get rid of client duplicates?
- Decide which "client" will be the master account.
- Rename the client first/last name or organization to differentiate the record from the other records.
- Go to the Events for that client that are assigned to other client records
- On the event information page under the General tab, at the bottom there is a button called "Change Assigned Client". Click on that button to reassign to the correct client.
- Once all of the events have been reassigned, go back and delete the unused clients.
This can also be done via the Data Cleaner option found here: Login to DJEP -> Setup -> Data Cleaner In the Client Based section on that page look for the option to "Reassign events from one client to another" then choose "Reassign". Choose a client you wish to move the events from, then choose the client you want to move the events to. Next Update your changes. Once you have finished, you can then use the option to delete any "Clients who do not have events assigned to them" within the Data Cleaner Client Based section.
